FPPD integrates R&D, system design, lightweight material development, component molding, material testing, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing expertise with state-of-the-art computer modeling and simulation technology for the defense and manufacturing markets.
FPPD's technical expertise spans polymers and composites, and maintains extensive modeling capabilities and databases on materials, processing, tooling and machinery. FPPD operates out of two cutting-edge facilities in New Jersey, totaling 60,000 square feet of advanced research and development space designed for the R&D and manufacturing of advanced polymer materials tailored for DOD applications. Equipped with specialized laboratories and high-performance machinery, the facilities support direct collaboration with military stakeholders and enable rapid prototyping to accelerate innovation. Designed to meet stringent military standards, our U.S. research and manufacturing facilities provide the flexibility and adaptability necessary to address complex defense challenges. Key technical capabilities include the development and full-scale production of innovative lightweight materials, advanced design and simulation, in-house prototype fabrication and testing, and rapid ballistic testing—all critical to delivering high-performance solutions for today’s demanding defense landscape.
